I had this case since launch day. Nothing peeling.

I second this. If you need to remove the case periodically, such as would be the situation if you use a VR device, then this is a fine choice.

Otterbox Defender is wicked grippy. Great to hold. I've switched to the UAG Monarch. Not as grippy as the Defender but I love it.

I would go with the defender if it wasn't for the ports being covered. Those are overkill now with the water/dust resistant feature of this phone.

I said the same thing, but it's not that big a deal. Remember, most of the charging is wireless anyway.

I was thinking that to, about the only time I use corded charging is in the car, which is the time it will be a pain trying to plug it in. I'm still up in the air on it.

Hahaha I just was going to mention that. I haven't yet but thought about it earlier. Using my Note 5 at the moment but definitely still the s8+. Just giving it a break.

I noticed today Amazon no longer has any of the S8 Plus Defender cases listed to buy from them directly, only from third party sellers now. They do still have the regular s8 Defender listed from Amazon directly and all the other cases for the s8 Plus by otterbox though except the Defender. I can't believe they ran out of stock on all the colors, even the purple. Was just curious on the prices. Sam's though sells it now for 43 bucks which is pretty cheap. Wal-Mart by me is finally now selling s8 cases. They have a variety of S8 Defender cases and otterbox cases for the s8 Plus too except the Defender for the S8 Plus. They didn't even have shelf space for it. might be because of the price they won't carry it. Just like they never carried the Defender for the S7 Edge. They did have Symmetry for the S8 Plus though.
