Has anyone noticed a connection between having a case on or off and the quality of mic on a speakerphone call?
I'm getting comments that I'm muffled from time to time during a speakerphone call. I took off my case and the listener said my voice was clear. Put the case back on, muffled again.
Tried it with a TPU case, Seidio and the Vz case that comes with a holster. Same results for all, even though the Vz case is minimal and has a large cutout area around the back speaker.
None of my cases cramp the mic area on the front. If that little hole below the speaker is also a mic, it always is clear, but some of the cases only have a small hole around it.
