it was/is my understanding that all messages in Google (those you haven't deleted) will, over time, populate on the new phone. (Google is not known for its blazing speed in this regard)s25+: unfortunate, smart switch xfers all samsung messages to new phone, google messages doesn't!!
i had 1100+ messages from one contact in samsung messages, all xfered to s25+!!
friend using same s25+/google messages, very few messages xfered!!
fortunately, still able to access messages from old phone before dropping at verizon!!![]()

No RCS on those 2 apps , If it doesn't effect you RCS then go with it then.A sad day (at least for me)
Guess it was going to happen at some point so I'm now trying to decide between these two...

I have no need for it.No RCS on those 2 apps , If it doesn't effect you RCS then go with it then.
yes. obviously, I could be wrong. perhaps things have changed. I've had all messages populate via Google Messages, though that was a couple of years ago.you're understanding huh??![]()
