Cases for the HTC One

Think I'm going to have to make a trip to my local sprint store and pick up a speck candyshell or the htc case if they have it. (by the way, is it odd to go to a store for a carrier you don't have to buy an accessory?)

Nope. I'm on AT&T and got my case from Sprint.

I posted a separate thread, but the Zagg screen protector inhibited my use of the back/home buttons. Beware!

I opted for the Nillkin. Found US seller on ebay for $10 + free shipping. Has a nice solid feel and fits like a glove. I don't like a lot of bulk added and this case is perfect. Won't protect front much in a fall but I'm careful with my gadgets and I'm mainly concerned about setting my phones down on the table and such, so this works for that perfectly.

It also included/came with a clear screen film/protector but I hate those things...

Man I am so bummed - I ordered this same case off Amazon and this is what shipped:

Amazon.com: HTC One M7 Nillkin Tree-Texture Faux Leather Case with Abacus24-7 NFC Tag (Grey): Cell Phones & Accessories

I am in the return process with Amazon.

Edit: Just received an email from the seller apologizing for the mistake - told me to keep the case and they are sending the correct one ASAP. Nice!

Been using the HTC flip case and so far I haven't had the rub off others reported. Phone still looks brand new. No discoloration

The poetic atmosphere covers the volume buttons. Too bad it also covers the start button.
However, poetic has sent out an email saying those that already have the case will get a revised edition.
This is a very form fitting case.

I also ordered both the Poetic Atmosphere and the Bumper cases from Amazon. I've been back and forth a few times with the seller and got notifications yesterday that both cases shipped. I double checked with the seller and they said both were the new editions so it looks like those that ordered and are still waiting will be getting the new version sooner than the quoted date.

Was Exact-Deal your seller? I bought it when it said that it'll be in stock by April 29 and now the item says in stock on May 13. Curious to know if the revision is occurring now or between that two week period.

Nvm: "We are aware the issue of IR Blaster is being blocked. Update version will be released and ship on May 13th."

Wonder if I'll have to cancel and reorder.

Overpaid for an Otterbox Commuter at Best Buy. My OCD refused to allow me to continue without protection. It'll hold me over until the Cimo and Spigen come.

Other than the Speck and otterbox cases, are there any other slim cases that also cover the entire outside edge of the phone, including the volume buttons? All of the super slim cases seem to have cutouts for the volume, which I actually don't want.

I ordered this one, but don't like it because it has groves on the edges that take away the smooth feeling of the One. Other than that it's a nice case and I'll use it for now until I decide on the case I ultimately want.

I got from Amazon uk a Ionic SLIM FLEX Case (Clear) which works really well as it's partly clear and doesn't fetract from the beautiful design of the phone. :) was around ?7

Hmm okay. I ordered the Hyperion HTC One Matte TPU Case and Screen Protector, which looks practically the same. We'll see how I like it.

I wasn't sure of the case I wanted, so I bought two (plus the free htc case).

Here is the Speck CandyShell Grip in Pool Blue color. It's basically the same as all the other candy grip cases they sell and I bought it from Amazon;

The next is the Otterbox Commuter in Green. This case is pretty rugged and the ports have a cover flap.

For now I'm using the Otterbox, but I do think the blue matches better with the silver.

Are you, or is anyone, fearful of case colors rubbing off on the white?

I never really thought about it. I'm not even sure if the white is a coating or not. If it isn't and colors do bleed, then liquid paper could be the cure-all. I'm more concerned of the screen breaking (especially since it's not replaceable).
