Is anyone planning on going naked? Never found any phone I liked that wasn't black but this phone is turning heads

Sent from my amazing HTC ONE Quietly brilliant!
Im considering it. Im extremely careful with my phones but accidents happen and im worried with the aluminium that dents/deformations are going to stand out more so than a plastic sammy, so small case sounds appealing.
But on the other hand this thing is a beaut and I LOVE the aluminium feel that I dont want to cover up at all.

So torn...

I've spent a fortnight 1st with the HTC branded double flip case, (it broke, no wonder they're giving them away with the phones) then with a cheaply silicon case. I've always traded off looks, size and feel for the protection, I'm not gonna on the One. It's just too much of a shame to hide it and not feel it.
My advice? get good insurance and go bareback ;-)

I like my phone to be naked too..HTC One is so beautiful without case but I might need some case when I go out because I work in the restaurant and I saw my customer drop his Iphone 5 on the floor...and screen broken..so..I don't want this happen to my beautiful one...

I was just looking at this case on Amazon (where it's cheaper) this morning and even though I always go for soft cases, I was thinking that this might be the one for this phone since it looks like it still lets the design shine through.

EDIT: Actually, I decided to go with this one:

Amazon.com: Cimo Grip Back Case Flexible TPU Cover for HTC One (M7) - Frosted Clear: Cell Phones & Accessories

Slightly different than the Cimo case someone else posted, this has no swirl in back. Looks quite thin though and if the photo/render is accurate, then it will let the phone design show through. And I much prefer TPU to hard cases!

I've gone back & forth on this & finally decided that my happy medium would be to keep it in a sleeve/pouch... I get some protection afforded if the phone falls out of my shirt pocket or whatever, but I also retain the visual beauty of the "naked" phone (not to mention the feel of the aluminium).

I just stopped at my local Radio Shack, they had 1 Otterbox Defender case and 1 Zagg Invisible Shield in a box in the back. The guy who showed them pre-ordered the One and he was excited about it.

Naked all the way. I've never used a case and only had one cracked screen in 5 years of owning smartphones. Phone manufactures spend millions on R&D to get the thinnest, best feeling, best shaped device and then you cover it up with 5 cents worth of mold injected plastic? If I'm going to spend $600 on a phone I want to enjoy it. Otherwise I'd rather save my money. Phone technology moves so fast anyway that the One will be worthless by the time you're due for your next upgrade. At that point it won't matter how many dings it has, you'll trade it in for $100 bucks and get the HTC Two.

I would love to go naked but I have to use a case. I use the phone in crawlspaces for work. This case I believe compliments the phones.

Thought i'd bump with this...

My company got the Otterbox Defender in for the HTC One and its pretty bad ***. Most otterbox's feel gigantic on any phone but this one was good, very sleek.
I'd recommend it to those that want maximum protection.

Yea agree, I've given up on cases, this phones too good without! My insurance guarantee me a minimum ?100 for this phone when I turn it in, more if the going rate for phone recycling is higher. that'll do...
