Cases for the HTC One

Newbie here (don't even have my HTC One yet, getting it in a day or two).

But I'm not seeing any posts about incipio dualpro case? It seems like a dialed down version of the Otterbox Commuter and I really like it (from what I can tell) and there are a couple reviews on it, not many though. But it is a bit disconcerning to hear you guys go over such a vast amount of cases and not mention this one.

It has been mentioned here. I may have went for the Dualpro shine if it had a holster

the shine was mentioned regularly but the regular dualpro has only been mentioned 2 or 3 times in the last 8wks of posts and there was a problem I had heard of with flash for the regular and was hoping to see if more people used or heard good things besides those 3ish posts on a 34 page thread.

I've talked about them a few times here. What would you like to know? I own 2. Black/black and the Grey/"yellow"(unopened and for sale ;) ) .

It's the best all around case imo.

I was looking more for a group of people to be like "ya I haven't mentioned it but i love my dualpro" or "heard nothing but good things". But I've only seen like 3 people across the whole of the internet talk about the original specifically. That being said I might as well ask:

1. Do you find the lip rigid enough to keep the One off its screen when you put the phone face down?
2. Is it difficult at all to reach the power button? not necessarily hard but is the movement made more difficult?
3. In the case of the lip again, is it high to the point where it makes it harder to swipe or text on letters further towards the edges?
4. Last one, how noticeable is the weight?

I know you loved it weeks ago so consider this line of questioning as essentially an update of "do you still love it"

Had the case and actually loved it based on looks and protection, however I had the issue with the flash some people have mentioned. I assumed it was some sort of design flaw and people with the Shine version must have had the same issue. Maybe I'm wrong? My wife had the same case in a different color and had the same problem so it wasn't just my particular case or color. Had to return it which is unfortunate because I actually really liked it.

I just got the Hyperion case today. I really like the case -- it's a full coverage case with cutouts for the ports, but covers the volume buttons. The screen protector that it comes with is hard to put on (but I'm really bad at putting them on), but it does not seem to interfere with the "home" and "back" buttons, so that's good. Here's a few pics:

Update to my previous post about the hyperion case -- I still love the case, but I found out recently on a roadtrip that you cannot fit a 3.5 mm stereo jack (the ones that have the big fat heads on them that look like this: http://store.acousticom.com/image/cache/data/3-5mm-plug-500x500.jpg) without taking off the case. The case doesn't leave enough clearance for the head to fit flush. No problem with "regular" headphone jacks though.

I was wondering if anybody found a case with a stand that they liked. I haven't seen many. I saw the trident kraken case has one but, that looks too bulky for me. I like to watch tv or a movie while I'm doing chores, it makes it go faster. I like to have a stand for my phone. propping it up against something all the time becomes a pain.

You should get one of these: Keyprop

1. Absolutely! The lip is a tiny bit smaller than 2 quarters stacked and is very heavy duty. A little tougher material than the otterbox.
2. It is more difficult than the other cases I used but I wouldn't call it hard by any means.
3. I haven't had any issues with it.
4. Not bad at all. I don't have anything to actually weigh it but it doesn't feel much heavier. Feels slightly lighter than the Otter Box Commuter.

And yes....I still love it. Only thing I really HATE..........doesn't come in black and red :D .

Somebody say something about having too many cases?

All these cases are great. Each has their own pros and cons, but the best All Around case, imho, is the Incipio DualPro(regular version).

How do you like the UAG scout? Been thinking about getting one myself.

How do you like that carbon fiber case?? I was looking at it, but wasn't sure about it. That red seidio is pretty nice too-- does it block the IR blaster? How do you like it? Looks kinda thick-- is it? I might be interested in a slightly more protective case for when I'm engaging in potentially phone-breaking risky activities. You know, like going outside. LOL

My favorite case so far has to be the cat fur one I got off of the Chinese version of Amazon. It is SO soft and even came with a free purr ringtone! It sure makes me miss my cute lil whiskers every time someone calls.

TPU should be pretty easy to cut, so if you like the case otherwise, you could carefully widen that hole.

"Chinazon"?

And yes, furry cats always feel good to me, too.

I really like the looks of all those cases...your tastes seem to match my own. But I have such a hard time covering up this beautiful One. For daily wear to work and about, I put the Seidio Surface case w/kickstand because it has a holster. For evenings and around the house, I like to go naked...but enough about me.

As for the phone, I like to use the Poetic Atmosphere, a clear TPU case, or no case at all. I have a lightly frosted clear TPU, but I have a crystal clear TPU on the way thanks to someone else who posted in this thread (already thanked, too!)

I've ordered the Atmosphere, Clear/Grey for my Silver device. I'd love to be able to go without a case because of how good the phone looks but it's so slippy in the hand that I don't trust myself.
