Cases for the HTC One

As much as I hate putting a case on this phone, I was going to use the Otterbox commuter series. But I'm really liking the looks of
HTC One DualPro SHINE Dual Protection with Aluminum Finish
Does anyone know how this case is, compared to an Otterbox- protection wise???

I only use a case when I'm at work (construction) Does this Dualpro shine case come with a holster??? Can you get one for it if not?

I've used other TUP case for my phone before, and it worked quite well.
As for flip cases, I think it'll get pretty annoying.
Another option is to forget about the case completely, and get an insurance for your lovely One :)

Agreed. I probably will end up buying multiple cases, all of which will end up in my drawer collecting dust. The more I think about this the more I am leaning towards a zagg invisible shield and then insurance. I can't cover this magnificent beast up.

Why use a case when the phone looks so nice? I'm debating whether to get a case or not. Is there any type of protection plan similar to applecare +?

I know that it is completely outragous but I have just got hold of the Noreve case for my HTC One. The fact is that the One is a simply beautiful piece of kit and if I have to put it in a case (and I do have to put it in a case!) then it just has to be the most beautiful case in the world, and this is.

I am not going to argue about the price, it is scary, but you can see and feel the price in the quality of materials and craftsmanship that has gone into the case every time you touch it. The leather is the finest I have ever seen and the design and fit are perfect. Oh and even the smell of it is just sublime. So much has been made of the quality and beauty of this phone that even despite the price, this was the only compromise that I was willing to make and now that I have tried it out for myself, I have to say that it was worth it.

I decided that for less than $25 the coupon for the Otterbox commuter was well worth a purchase. THANKS AGAIN MAN FOR THE COUPON I wouldv'e loved a Seidio surface case with the kickstand, though as much as I would love a kickstand I can't get over the hump that is involved due to the kickstand. I've dealt with both in the past and on my most recent EVO 3D I have had it in an otterbox up until the fact that the otterbox was larger than the phone and the phone did not just have a good fit. I have insurance though I also like to always play it safe, even though this device is a beauty. I hope that one case maker can make more of a streamlined kickstand case for the phone and then like always I will end up with several cases for the phone.

wow, this is a really nice case. custom made so you can pick from a ton of colors and patterns. i don't know if i would want a flip case though. its expensive but not that much, i paid $40 for a otterbox

Was thinking bout getting the otter box case defender series but wondering if it would cover the front speakers?

Are there any other flipbook ones? The poetic one looks good, but I don't like the branding on the front, and it says pre-order even though it was supposed to be available the 15th. I also really hate the ones that open vertically, rather than horizontally like a book. Been googling but there just doesn't seem to be much out there yet!!

There's this Nillkin one on Amazon. The reviews of this brand's cases for other phone models are good...
I don't like the vertical ones either. Thats the main thing that puts me off that expensive, fancy-pants case.

This one actually looks pretty good, especially considering the price point. I'm pretty partial to the black one, myself. I hope it has a magnet or a little clip to keep the cover closed, that's 100% the reason I didn't buy the Double Dip one.

Thank you!!

Just ordered my Otterbox, Commuter series. I've never used any other kind of case. And I know the Otterbox has protected my other phones in the past, so sticking with a product I know.
P'S: buying it off of eBay saved me $15!

These are what my fiancee and I have ordered so far in terms of cases

And yes, I get all 6 cases in the first photo. 9.99 for 6 with 3 screen protectors? yes please
