Cases for the Nexus One?

I'm trying to find a good case for the Nexus One and I think I've narrowed it down to the Seido Innocase II Surface and the Case-Mate Tough Case.

I'm looking for a hard case and not something strictly silicon. The Case-Mate seems to be a blend of both as it touts

"A form-fitting silicone skin surrounds your HTC Google Nexus One completely, absorbing each impact or hard-knock. Wrapped around the skin is a tough, ABS plastic shell for complete security, adding another level of protection and making for a firm grip."

It seems quite bulky but seems to provide the best protection, whereas the Seido Innocase appears quite thinner but I'm unsure of the "protection" it provides.

I've already dropped my nexus one and had to get the screen replaced. I don't want to go through that again. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the Seidio Innocase for the Droid and I liked it. It had some problems because of the sliding action of the Droid but since the N1 has no keyboard I'd recommend it to you. It's hard plastic but has a nice smooth touch to it. I don't think you'd be disappointed.

As for the Case-Mate, I can't say anything about it. I've never tried it.

Thanks for your input. I'm hoping to hear from those with the Case-Mate. The fact that I have kids and they most likely will find a way to get their hands on it has me leaning towards it.

When I used to use innocase from seidio, I was extremely happy with it. It can take beating well and protect the phone really well. I no longer use it due to desktop dock and car dock but I definitely recommend seidio innocase II

Yep, Seidio is what is protecting my Nexus and as soon as they come out with one for the incredible i will have one. Top notch products and even better Customer Support. The best in the business.

The case-mate is nice and does a great job of protecting the phone. It does add a little bulk but they all do. Its not bad but you will notice it. To bad we do not have even half the options as the iphone.

The case-mate gelli fits perfect in the siedio holster for cased phones too. I use this combo when working and its been great.

Thanks again. I'm rethinking my initial decision of going with the case-mate. Everyone has had nothing but great things to say about it.
