Cases with raised edges?

Has anyone found a case yet that has good edge screen protection? I don't just mean raised top and bottom bezel, but also side edges. I think most cases don't have a good edge screens protection. Thanks!

The two best edge protection case I found were the Otterbox Defender and Speck Presidio. The Defender will give you problems with wireless charging but has the best edge protection. While the Speck is good protection with no interference with wireless charging.

I don't think Presidio is as good as it was for s8+. I will check out the Defender though they usually look bad

The Gpl Pure Max I have on at the moment has slightly raised sides but it has great corner protection, and the part around the camera app is raised pretty nicely. So many cases suddenly and so hard to figure out which are best for the phone.

That Gpel case, I originally worried that the volume rocker and the Spen were a little hard to use with this one on but I've been using it all day and I am used to it now so in fact I didn't have any trouble with either of those things, or anything else, while using it. I like it a lot.

Haven't seen it in person on a Note 8, but UAG had good protection on the sides of the S8.

I consider this sort of design problematic. Protection only on top and bottom bezel and leaving edge screens completely exposed.

For those with cases which do provide a lip along the edges, to better protect the screens, such as the Presidio, do you find that this interferes with swiping from the edges to activate those functions? Or do these still function normally?

Thanks. My N8 should be in early next week, and I'm getting prepared. Upgrading from an almost 4 year old Note 3, so this should be interesting!

For most drops having a raised lip on the top and bottom will also protect the edges of the screen.

Most maybe, but there have been too many stories about broken screens with cases that only have rised lips.

Another one may be the Incipio dual pro. Waiting for mine to arrive and see.

I have the Speck Presidio case in black. I wasn't sure at all about the case at first, (there weren't a lot of cases yet to pick from.) But I gotta tell ya, I've really grown to like this case! Its a little bit more tailored than some of the previous years models. It has a textured back with a really good grip & solid protection. The sides don't interfere with edge use & it's a nice snug fit but doesn't make your sleek Note 8 look like a big box....& I am someone who normally Hates the way the more protective cases look. I'd at least check it out. I'll post a few pics when I can grab my sisters phone.

No issues with edge functions or wireless charging with the Speck Presidio case, love mine! Oh, one other thing; the utube videos say that it IS compatible with the Whitestone Dome screen protector too which not all cases are. Just wanted to throw that out there in case that makes a difference for some.
