I am told that iPhone 3G cases will fit the Optimus S and the measurements seem to bear that out.
I bought this beauty but sine I haven't got my Optimus yet, I cant be sure that it fits.

I have the bodyglove case from Sprint. I purchased it over the phone and they gave me 25% off and free over night shipping. The case is 100% quality. It's VERY much like the barely-there cases made by casemate for other phones but this is a little more protective and a little better build quality IMHO

And when you get to the menu there's a sales or accessory sales option.

We're using Sprint's two pack of gel cases on our Optimus:

There is one purple and one black case. The silicone is quite firm and smooth and doesn't pick up lint. It fits very tightly. I've used softer, floppier gel cases from ebay before, and this is nothing like those. They're not the cheapest cases around, but we're very pleased with them.

Just a heads up...
Body glove cases are starting to show up at ebay and sprint sites.
Bodyglove site says 11/30 for it...

I think I may hold out and see if otterbox makes one for the optimus s.?

I got the Sprint holster and i also wanted to get LG bluetooth headset but in order to get 25% I had to buy 2 accessories. Sprint Holster is a nice design, lightweight and slim but I don't like it because I find it very very hard to remove the phone from it and its very annoying. Specially if I need to answer the call.

I am hoping and praying that smartphone experts makes their famous belt pouch for this phone. I've used them for almost every phone i have owned and let me tell you, you will never find a belt pouch thats better quality. Leather so thick it could stop a bullet lol

Bought the body glove case today at the sprint store and I am thoroughly unimpressed. Gives back protect for the camera a little side protection but your phone in general is extremely vulnerable to scratching and nicks even with a screen protector installed.

I did try out a 3gs armband at best buy today. As long as it is one of the ones with a fully clear front it will work great for exercising.
