Last night my S41 was working great. This morning I woke up, pressed my phone power button to turn it on and went about my normal activities. I come back and see my phone is oddly off, so I force a reboot thinking that it might've been a small error or something. It vibrates once like it normally does, and then a little later gives the small vibration that indicates that the OS booted up. Problem is is that the phone seems to work (touch works because I can here the password keypad vibration when I swipe up and tap around), but there is no backlight/picture on the display. I've already tweeted CAT about the situation and am awaiting response. Most of my important files are on my SD card, but I have some pictures on my internal storage that I didn't copy to the SD card (Gcam only stores on internal storage...). The phone requires me to unlock it and select "Transfer Files" when I plug it into a computer, and obviously this will be super hard or even impossible with the dead screen. Is there an alternative way to get my stuff off this thing and reset it before I send it in to repair?

The only way would be to find a repair shop that has a used S41 screen (which is highly doubtful), and will plug it into yours and allow you to download what you need (for a fee, of course).

But, as Galactic Zoo said, backing up is always better.

I will just send it in for warranty service... They will probably give a new phone all together. I already bought a cheap (€140) used 2018 Galaxy A6+ and the replacement/repaired CAT phone will go to my mom since the warranty service usually takes la full month and I'm gone to college in 2 or so weeks... I will never buy another CAT phone unless they fix the quality control. My father's S60 had the touch layer fail after 18 months and he got a replacement 1 month after he put the warranty claim.
