Causes of rebooting phone?

Samsung Galaxy J5 (SM-J500Y) constantly reboots after water damage. Battery charges normally. Removing and reinserting battery does not fix the problem. Could the motherboard be an issue? What other issues could be causing this issue and how to eliminate possibilities?

Welcome to Android Central! The first 5 answers would be that it's due to the water exposure. Water damage can be widespread, unpredictable, and progressive. It could be the motherboard, the battery, the power button, or any combination.
