Thinking of getting a G4, presently have Note 3. Can you use the G4 as a hot spot? - one reason I have the Note 3. How is the cell radio - we spend a lot of time in areas with little or no cell service, (between 110 & 118 -dba). Some cases, can't call (dropped), but can send & receive text. Does the G4 have a decent radio or is it worse then the Note 3?

The answer to the first question is yes, you can use the G4 as a hotspot....should be an icon on the App screen, or dig it out of the Verizon folder.

Don't know the answer to the second question, but sure someone here knows. I have Verizon and it depends on where I am as to whether my G4 network signal is weak or not.

Don't have a Note 3 but my previous phone before the G4 was a Note 2. The G4 has stronger cell signal than the Note 2 on AT&T.

Came from N3. Live in weak cell signal area. (farm in the boonies) Difference is between night and day. G4 gets a much stronger signal both call and data. For me, it's like a miracle.
Nuff said.
