I have network drop issue with my new GN, I have posted about this issue yesterday. I am still experiencing same, maybe it's got worse. Anyway, my battery life is really bad as well, so I checked my battery usage, my Screen used 43% and surprisely second was Cell standby at 16%. So I clicked on Cell standby and I was so surprise to find this information,

Time on 1h44m35s
Time without a signal 38%.

After I got out of subway, I had to reboot my GN to get my signal back. Since then i have experienced atleast 5 or 6 times network drop. That's like every 20 min. But I guess my network drops even more while i wasn't even looking at it.

If my new unit have same issue, and if I want to change to different phone (I really want to keep GN), is Verizon going to charge me money?

I really don't have a clue if they will work with you or not in that event. If you are still under the return window I don't see why they wouldn't.

You can also check your signal strength via settings by going into about phone and then status. It actually live tracks it to so if you wrap your hands around the phone in a way to lower the signal you can see the dbm go up as the bars go down.
