Cell video sideways on pc

I took some videos on SGII. They show up sideways on pc in mp4 format. It looks like I can change the orientation in Windows Movie maker, but when I try to save it as mp4 - it says "invalid format". It has it's own format to save it in and doesn't appear to have any other options. Any other way to do this?

Try using VLC to view and rotate and save it...and see if that doesn't work.
