I hardly consider the S20 series "older" as they still hold up quite favorably to the S22 line, and in some areas actually have the advantage.

But with this month's next update, devices like the S20 series and a couple other lines are getting updates to the camera software that are currently found on the S22 line.

It seems Samsung is really making a solid effort to future proof a lot of their devices. I put this in the S20 thread even though it has updates for other Samsung phones since there isn't a forum dedicated to "Samsung in general"

This update applies to the S20 series, Note 20 series, Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Galaxy Z Fold 3.

Yeah lot of times a device a year or two old will get some the current camera updates from current flagship

As they should because in most cases, they are plenty capable of supporting them.

Yeah unless some hardware changes and older version doesn't have it
