AC Question
I have tried to root my Galaxy S7 SM-G930F using CF Autoroot. The Odin log seems to show that all is well but the phone will go no father than the two opening screes. Full details below:
Procedure and Odin Logs
1. Odin 3.0 started OK in Administrative Mode
2. Phone set into Download Mode (warning screen) and then Vol-up key pressed to enter the Download Mode
3. Phone connected to laptop running Odin and blue windows in ID ROM field signifies that the phone is recognised and connected. Log shows added.
4. Pressing Options shows that AutoReboot and F.Rest Time are selected.
5. Box next to AP selected and then AP is selected.
6. A browser window appears, file CF-Auto-Root-herolte-heroltexx-smg930f.tar.md5 selected and opened.
7. Log Shows

The phone restarts and shows 2 screens.
Screen 1: Samsung Galaxy S7 and below Android
Screen 2: Samsung (pulsing in brightness)
The phone will now only respond to a power-off using "Vol-down + Home + Power". It can be restarted using the "Power key", "Vol-down + Home + Power" (Download Mode) or "Vol-up + Home + Power" (Recovery Mode).
It consumes a lot of battery and gets much warmer than usual.

As I am very new to rooting it may be that I'm missing something extremely simple or it may be that i've made a complete ****-up.
