Change app launcher from Sense to 3D?

I've been lurking these forums for a while and done some searching find an answer on this to no avail, so forgive me if I'm missing something.

I love Sense UI, but I really, really want the stock 2.1 applications list. I've tried some different launchers which all seem to do this, but the problem is, I don't want to replace my home screen and lose all the Sense elements. Is there some some tweak or app I can use that will just change my application list?

I think that they want to keep sense but want the 3d launcher.

He means the stock apps that the Nexus and Droid come with; and no Incredible is missing them. Droid Eris had them in the rom from what I have read so you can turn off Sense and get the regular Android launcher and apps. However this is NOT possible with the Incredible as these were intentionally left out of the rom (probably to save space).

The the OP: You are going to have to wait for the phone to be rooted and developers to design custom ROM's for the phone. Plenty of people seem to want what you are asking for, so I am sure it will come at some point. It's just a matter of when.

EDIT: Re read the post and sorry I misunderstood. If you want the original apps most are available for individual install (I'm running the 3d gallery myself) if you search the forums, but I'm not sure what you mean by the apps list. If you mean the launcher then what "stock" version do you mean? Nexus or Droid? Thus far neither have been ported to work with Sense UI. You may want to start looking at home screen replacements (Helix Launcher and Nexus Home for example) but be aware that the Sense widgets don't work on them.

The OP doesn't want to replace the home screen. He wants all the sense elements except for the plain 2d launcher. He wants the flashy 3d one on thenexus which, as he stated, is available in multiple replacements. Basically he's asking for what is jot possible as of right now.

Sorry for the confusion. My years of BB terminology don't always help me. I'm trying to see if there's a way to do the 3D Laucher (a la Nexus One) without having a home screen replacement.

That's what I thought you meant and as far as I know, it isn't possible.

Well, it's possible, but may take more time. I tried the home screen and launcher but realized that I really like sense. I hope they can provide the 3d launcher without replacing the home screen and not require a new rom....

So, I've done further digging using better search terms and found this post

Koush has a stock launcher 2 in the market. It should work. Oh and you can disable the dock in helix, its under its settings.

Hmm... I could be wrong but i think this only works with the helix launcher which is a home screen replacement.
