Hey guys, I had enabled swype to try...and ended up making it the default keyboard...But I want to revert back to the stock keyboard and cant find the location in the settings to do this..Any help would be appreciated..

Thanks.

Press and hold a text input field until input button pops up click on it and select touch, that should do it.

Mjcumberland nailed it.

Alternatively you can go to home/menu/settings/language and keyboard and find a slew of options there as well.

Thanks guys. I checked the keyboard settings and was not able to find anything..Thats when I came on here to post. I didn't know about the pressing on the screen in a text area. No more swype! thank god.

Indeed, once you've pressed down within the text area (text area is the place that has the blinking cursor) android should pop up a context menu. From the context menu select "Input Method"
This should work even if your "Settings\Language & keyboard\Input method" doesn't exist. Be sure you've installed some extra keyboards, I like the straight-forward feel of AnySoftKeyboard however there are many others that work well too.
