Change Default PDF Viewer

Anyone have any idea how I can change the default viewer for my pdf files. I chose PDF and I want to use another viewer instead.

Settings, apps, select the current default PDF reader program, scroll down and hit "clear defaults". Next time you open a PDF it'll ask you which program you want to use.

I tried that but the PDF app does not show up in the list. It is not an app that I downloaded. It is something that came already installed on the tablet. But I went ahead and reset to factory defaults and started over. This let me pick a new default reader.

Ummm, there was no need for you to do that. You were looking for the app the wrong way. PDFViewer is part of the DocumentViewer App, that's the one you should have cleared.

I had similar but was further complicated because the pdf was being accessed by a link.
I was the option of using drive or chrome to open the link.
I had to clear defaults from drive and chrome.
I could then select drive to open the link, and then had the option of selecting my prefered pdf viewer.

Under SETTINGS-APPLICATION MANAGER-DEFAULT APPLICATIONS I have Set Defaults - Home and under that it says Home and under that it says TouchWizHome which is all in gray and does nothing when I touch it.

Below that I have Clear Defaults and under that I have:
Google Play Store -Clear
You Tube -Clear
Gallery -Clear
Chrome -Clear
Google Plus - Clear

There is nothing listed for PDF Viewer. My problem is that some PDF's open when I click on them and others I get a response that an application cannot be found.
