Change Default Photo Editor?

Is there a way to change the default photo editor to an app of my choice on the Nexus 7?

Depends on what apps you are looking at. If going from a photo it sometimes has to be sent or shared with the app you want to use as an editor. Also open the editing app of your choice and find how to get the photo into the app and edit at will..
