Change Home App w/a Routine

Hey all, any ideas on how I can have my default home screen app change based on a routine, for example switch to One UI during work hours, then switch to Nova off hours?

Not sure it can be done could try Bixby routines or something like Macrodroid or task changer app

Tasker maybe, but never heard of an app or the need for this.

You could possibly do this with just a samsung routine(it's really awkward now they aren't called Bixby routines anymore)... I might have a play in a bit.

the problem is every time you swiped home, it would go back to your default homescreen. As rvbfan says, you could probably get around that with Tasker but it seems like a big tool for the job.

Yeah it's like asking be Google messages by day then at night ask to change to Samsung messages , these are default apps we talking about for their respected catagories once you choose then most likely have to manually change.

Thanks all, I research this now and then, but have yet to find THE answer.

Basically the goal is to have one home screen layout for work hours, then switch to another layout when off work.

Eventually it will come because when we were in Android 13 beta it was available but they removed it when public release rolled out.

Secure folder would also be something to look at but can't switch with routine like OP asking
