Change keyboard from default LG to Google

I am not able to go to my settings menu as it constantly crashes (incorrect rooting). Is there any alternate way for me to change my keyboard to Google keyboard instead of the default LG g2 keyboard. I prefer using Google voice dictation than typing

If there is a direct way of changing using buildprop editor or something, please let me know the process.

If I couldn't get to settings, that would be a bigger concern for me that replacing the keyboard.

You need to get to settings... Honestly, I would reflash the ROM with a stock image first to clear up the problem then root again.
