Change Notification Shade color on my LG V20?

I really don't like the mint green/white theme on my V20 (running Nougat 7.0) but i do t want to have to change the default apps icons, wallpaper and settings menu to be able to change this (as per the themes in settings). An ideal outcome would be to have the dark theme's notification shade only, while the app icons and menus all stay the same.
 
Just go to LG Smartword and download a theme(very few available unlike Samsung or even xiaomi) and ur good to go
There's a fair few in Google Play now, but most of them you have to pay for. Since they are third party themes, they may change the icons, though. This is the one I use. While it does change the icons, I think they look superb compared to the OEM icons. If you use a third party launcher, you could possibly change them back.

You don't even have to go download one, u can you use one of the built in themes on your phone! Just go to settings / theme. Here's what the high contrast theme looks like:
