Is there anyway to change the viewing size of a video file. The videos that I transferred to my tab are only filling about a third of the screen and are centered. Is there a fullscreen mode I can select like on my xbox and computer? Thanks in advance.

looks like no fixes yet. I dont know much about touchwiz but maybe when the update rolls out 8/3 there will be some options for this.

It sounds like the movie files you are bringing over are of a lower resolution (size) than the tablet's size. Possibly from a phone? Mobi Player (free) will increase the size to full screen but the quality will suffer because you can't increase the size of a pixel without a lof artifact interpolation (garbage in, garbage out). I've had to re-rip movies to take into account the larger size of the tab screen.

Hope that helps.

The best solution is to rip your movies at a resolution that will fit the screen the way you want.

The device has a 1280 by 800 display. So, I would use that as your baseline.

Of course you could stretch/zoom as suggested via player controld. however, you may lose quality.

Find a better video player.

MX VideoPlayer has Fit to Screen, Original Ratio and Original Size as options.

I use Mobi Player and it has a "full screen" option...at least on the few videos I've copied over and tried to play on it.

The update fixes this problem. I had the same issue but after the update, there are 3 sizes now including full screen.
