Changed icon, how to reset to default

I changed the Gallery icon. I then installed an icon theme, and it changes everything but gallery. I've tried manually changing it back to the default icon and then reinstalling the icon theme but it still didn't change the icon, it just leaves it at the default. How do I reset it so icon themes work again?

Here is an example. This app should clearly change the gallery icon. It changed any other ones I have edited, but won't change gallery.
