Changing buttons on back

So I have the metal grey Verizon model and I'm looking at maybe swapping the buttons on the back to the white model. The teardown is insanely easy, but I keep seeing buttons made for the 855 International model. From the look of it, it looks identical. Is there anyone that can verify that the 855 model will fit Verizon's VS985 model?
