Changing default app

On my wifes Skyrocket she was setting it up to use at&t messaging app and she clicked another messaging app to be the default. How can we change the default. She wants it to come to the messaging app instead of messages.

Go to the app you want to reset the defaults (in settings). You will see a clear defaults below. Do this for all messaging apps and next time you send a message, a popup should ask you for your choice for sending messages.
