Changing download path?

Ok i just rooted my NC and was wondering if there's a way to change the default browser, or any browser for that matter, so that it downloads any sort of download off the web to the sd card instead of the NC?

I am wondering the same thing. I download lecture notes from school using the default browser but prefer the adobe pdf view to the default view that comes with the nook. But the installed apps seem clueless as to the local file system, they only know about the SD card. is there some way to reconcile this?
