Changing Gmail inbox

I can't hardly tell what's a new email. Emails already read are gray and unread emails are a lighter shade of gray. I'm hardly able to tell the difference. What's a remedy?

Hmm, my unread emails look bold black. But I don't see any settings that allow you to change the font/color - sorry. Guess you'll have to try a 3rd party application.
