Changing Icons

So there are a few icons i want to change on my phone (I am using the LG Revolution with a ICS theme). I know I can change the icons in the launcher and on my homescreen easily with ADW which is what I am currently using. But That doesn't change the icons in the App Drawer, and I want them fully changed. So I was wondering if someone could tell me how to do it. From what I've read, it seems what i would ahve to do, is do a system dump to my computer, change the icons that i want, re-zip the files, and then flash it back to my phone. Am I correct. Which I was thinking, that since i have the zip of the theme i am using, i could just open that up on my computer, change the icons that i want, and then just reflash the theme onto my phone. Would that work ?

or do i just need to copy the app folder for the icon i want to change, to my computer, change the icon and then reflash just that part as like a theme ? and if so, how do i do a system dump and/or access those files on my computer ?

Also what version of the Android SDK do i need. I am running the latest version of Android thats available on the LG Revo and rooted (tho I am running a rom)
