changing lg3 keyboard

I don't like the LG3 keyboard at all. I changed it once before but it switched back. Now the LG3 keyboard is greyed out and I can't change it. I'm using Android 5.01 please help

If you have your secondary keyboard still installed go in Languages in settings and change it manually

Going into settings is the only way I know how to change it. It's still greyed out even if I unclick everything

Do you get the keyboard icon in the notification tray? If yes swipe down and select another keyboard, unless you don't have any installed.

I've done that.the new keyboard is checked but so is the LG on still greyed out
