Changing Media Players

Hi, i have a Galaxy S4 and when i receive videos from other iPhone users it is very pixely and in bad quality and i'm pretty sure it is because of the difference in media players between the two phones. Should I just download another media player to get a good quality? If so, which one?

Welcome to Android Central! Are the videos being sent to you via MMS? I think the iPhone downgrades the resolution of videos when sent over MMS in order to reduce the data used.

Yeah im pretty sure they are. What other way could they send the video to me?
