Charge battery before initial use?

Why

Who can wait on setting up the phone.
I drive 50 miles just to pick up my phone.
I've never let a phone charge up.
Good chance it will charge completely during the time it takes to drive 50 miles if it's on a car charger.

During the 50 miles.
My wife is driving.
I'm trying to set the phone up so I can use it.
Last thing I care about is a fully charged battery

Here's a look inside at the Note 10+ charging protocols.
Expect similar technology in this generation of phones.
It even has a new battery protocol it implements for the first couple charge cycles.
A tricky critter...

When you buy a phone.
Nobody says to fully charge the battery.
If they setup the phone for you.
They don't charge the battery.
They setup the phone.
Hand it to you.
And ask you to check it.
Then they reset your old phone for a trade in.

And don't forget:. They don't need the accessories!
