"charge only" mounting as disk drive?

i charge my phone through my laptop using the "charge only" option, however; the phone still mounts the sd card making all my files not accessible through my phone. How can I correct this? I lose a lot of funtionality like this, ringtones on my card go away, my swift keyboard stops making predictions, i dont have access to my pics...

Some apps like Double Twist and Winamp will mount as a disc drive by default. Are you using any of these apps?

You can change the connection type on the fly using the Connect PC app. Might give that a shot, but the SD card shouldn't be mounted if you only have charge chosen. Might also be a PC issue, have seen many posts where users are having different things happen when they connect to a PC.

ahh, i read about double twist, but i dont use that. I checked my winamp settings and it was set to auto mount when connected...Ill have to check when i get home if the problem goes away. Thanks!
