Hello,

So I noticed that the V20 uses quickcharge 3.0.

The V20 charger has 2 output voltage/amperage:
9V 1.8A
5V 1.8A

I have a few chargers from my previous Samsung phones.
I did a little research about voltages and amperages, but still not sure whether or not it's safe to use them to charge my V20.

My note 3 charger is 5.3v 2.0A (has higher Voltage which could be bad for the phone, based on what I researched)
My galaxy nexus charger is 5.0V but 1.0A (has lower amperage which can be bad for the charger, based on what I researched)

However, some say practically these shouldn't matter too much.

Is it ok to use these?
Does quickcharge 3.0 affect charging with these in any way?

Any ideas?

Whatever charger you use from the Note 3 will work with standard charging (provided you're using an USB-C adapter). Any Samsung 'Fast Charger' (Quick Charge 1 and 2) will work with fast charging BUT not as fast as the one that comes with the v20 (Quick Charge 3). I just used the ones left over from my Note 7's and they do prompt 'Fast Charging', but since those are the 2nd version, it's not as fast as the 'stock' Fast Charger.

I bought a new Anker quick charge (3.0) but the phone tells me it's incompatible and will only slow charge. Oddly enough it charged twice and the phone said it was quick charging.

And today it worked again fast charging. No idea. Lol
