Charger getting warm

Never paid attention , but noticed the charging block feels pretty warm when charging the s10+. The device isn't warm however. Is it because I'm using a note 8 charger? Genuine Samsung cable and block.

It's a 15 Watt charger, so it's probably losing about 1.5 Watts due to normal efficiency - and that's lost as heat. Ever feel a 1 or 2 Watt light bulb? Pretty warm, right?

True. Is the s10+ plus charger block same as the note 9 and note 8?

Funny you mention this, as I noticed my charging block was hot yesterday too. First time I can remember it being this way with my S10+.

Erm if Fast Cable Charging is ON then its normal. At least the phone isnt hot.

I should have clarified, I dont use fast cable charging.
