Would an LG V20 charger hurt my Note 9? It says fast charging when connected

It shouldn't. The worst it would do is charge at the default 5V USB rates. I'm almost in the exact same situation. I have a V20 and my wife has a Note 9 Snapdragon. We swap chargers on occasion with no issues, and the third party QC3.0 chargers work on both just fine.

It's funny I got a Tzumi wireless charging stand. Plugged into stock Samsung charger that came with my Note 9 I get 5 volt charging in my Note 9. Plugged into V20 charger I get "fast wireless charging" notification.

I should note that although the phone sensor recorded temps in the 90's I measured the temp on the back of the charger (where the phone rests) at 115 using an infrared thermometer.

I wonder if I would be better off charging at 5 volts?
