My S4 wont charge with any micro USB besides the stock one. Anyone know whats going on here? Ive tried like 4 or 5 different ones which I know work on S3's and other devices. Thanks.

I think that's common. You can only use Samsung cables I believe. Something like that.

False. I use some aftermarket ones.

Not sure what's going on in OP's situation. I would say it's the cables.

yeah just tried a another USB base at work with the same cable and it works. Thing is with the other bases and wires it said it was charging but def wasn't. must be a coincidental thing. thanks y'all.

The phone might require more amperage then the cable/setup can handle. (Edit, stock charger is 2 amps) If the setup does not meet the phones charging requirements it just won't work.

Also might have to do with Qualcomms quick charge 2.0. I think only certain cables work with this technology.
