AC Question

My Samsung Galaxy S3 has been having charging problems for about 8 - 9 months now. Every cord I used acted as if it had a short in it, I found online that my port could be ''dying'' or whatever, I looked for replacements and decided to find an alternate way to charge my phone because port replacement was way too expensive for me and I do not have the knowledge to do it myself, or risk messing it up completely. So I bought a charging pad, after reading reviews they seem to last a year in some cases other buyers still have theirs working after two years, so I bought 3 just in case, a main one, a backup, and a backup for the backup. they worked fine, no problems, charged my phone pretty fast then just today the same thing happened with the charging pad like it did with the cords I used, except every one of them recognized my device (there's a green light that appears when your device is recognized) but the phone wouldn't charge. I tried changing the battery 4 different times and none of them worked. Is there a solution to the charging issues or is my best option to get a new phone?

It's not the battery then. I assume charging pad means wireless? So if cable and wireless doesn't work out may be time for a new phone
