charging battery issues on infuse

So I noticed that while working on my "plugged in" infuse the battery monitor actually DECREASED!! Any one else have this issue? Is it a common bug on the Infuse or is it a serious phone defect? Thanks. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

It would depend.

Were you plugged into a USB port for charging? If so, this is a slow process as most usb's, depending on type, charge at an extremely slow rate when using USB. Can also make the battery seem much warmer than usual.

Also, if you were doing some task intensive things, Like Streaming video for example, perhaps the wall charger couldn't keep up with usage.

Check charging times on a normal basis without activity. If it's taking an abnormally longer time to charge (2 hrs), then it could be a defective battery or charging unit.

Or if you are plugged into a car charger and using the GPS it is likely you wont see an increase in charge. Maybe not a decrease, but, probably not an increase.
