I got my phone on Friday and was anxious to get to the car and try, once again, the underwhelming Android auto.... only to find the charging cable doesn't have a standard USB end that goes into the charger. Why why would they do that?

Figured thanks. I'm an apple user of carplay (work phone). Anything new with Android auto and how it interacts with this phone, or is it all pretty standard?USB-C to USB-C cable that comes with the phone is required to support the USB-C Power Delivery standard for fast charging. This standard isn't supported if a USB-A to USB-C cable is used.
There are plenty of deals online on USB-A to USB-C cables, I got 6 of them in various lengths for like $11 on Amazon.
Any recommendations on what fast chargers I should buy that will rapid charge the phone? The fast chargers I have for my Moto X Pure and Axon 7 just don't do it.
