Charging in docking station

Since only having my new droid x for a week now, I noticed when its in its docking station, it fully charges and then after discharges like its unplugged. Only when I am having my services running, incoming email notifications etc. Seems like the LED inidicator will drain down the battery if I dont clear the notification. Of course I'm getting my emails through out the night and the inidicator is just flashing away for hours. Then I wake in the morning and finding my X only 40% of power left.. wtf.

Has anyone had this problem discharging after fully charged in the dock?

Haven't noticed it, but I get out of of worth in an hour or so and I need a charge. I'll go home and check it out

no it should continously be charging...it stops at 100% obviously but if it drops down it should charge again. you may have a bad dock or battery or some other software issue with the phone. do a test with just the charge (no dock) and see if it does the same thing

I had a similar issue with the dock. Put the phone in and it was charging. Woke up to a completely dead phone the next morning.

mine is always at 100% in the morning, and i have around 10 to 15 unread emails when i wake up

Ditto on 100% charge in the morning. I wonder if you have it fully pressed into the docking station pins. I've noticed that when you get close to docking the X, the screen will switch to the docking station screen, but it's not fully pressed into place.
