Charging indicator and Notification LED

One thing I noticed last night is that my notification LED and charging indicator do not seem to be working. I plug in the power and it charges just fine, but the indicator does not light up as the manual says it should. Also I have not seen the notification LED come on at all so I have to assume it is not working.

Anyone else having this issue. I normally would just take it back and get a replacement, but that can't happen right now. I have tried looking through the settings to see if I missed something (yes notification is set to on) and either I am missing something or there really is an issue.

Anyone else having this issue?

My charging LED didn't work last night I noticed, but the LED lights up'for emails and notifications. It is a tall skinny white one on the right side of the screen.

Notification LED works. Charging LED not so much. Maybe a software update will fix it.

ok. I have confirmed that my notification does seem to work after all. i just had missed the check box in my mail client saying to use it. oops.

I can live with the charging light for now, though it is annoying since it should work. Though I did figure out that it appears to work when the Xoom is off so I know the light itself works. It is possible that is by design, but seems silly to be the case.

I can confirm this. I didn't think to try turning off the tablet. My light does work when the unit is off, but I can't say I'll ever actually turn this thing off. So, hopefully a software update will address this.
