Charging LG Optimus w/Blackerry charger?

I was curious how important it was to use only the specific LG charging adapter or if it would be OK to use a "similarly" rated adapter to charge the LG Optimus.

The LG Optimus charger is rated: 5.1V & 0.7A

The Blackberry charger is rated: 5V & 0.7A

Obviously not a huge difference numerically but didn't know if this would damage the LG battery somehow.

I use the charger from my BB Curve all the time at work and have no problems with it.

Yep. I use my old Palm Pixi charger... no problems at all.

I too use a BB charger, a X10 charger even my Nook charger - all work the same for me

I use a 5.1v 1a htc charger no issues with battery damage charges a lot faster. No increased or decreased battery use time just faster charge
