charging on the go

I drive a truck for a living ave use my phone for gps. What charger do you guys use in the car that actually charges the not five? I know the one from the Verizon site does good but I need a straight cord instead of the curly one they sell. It would already be nice if it was 6 foot. Thanks in advance
