Charging Options for 2012 Nexus 7

Hello all,

My tablet won't charge correctly. As soon as I plug the chord in, if the tablet is moved slightly it won't charge.

I am wondering if there is a wireless charging solution or a dock that I can use for this tablet. I just need something cheap and effective

Welcome to Android Central! The problem could be the microUSB port, or it could be the cable. If the cable has been bent or kinked a lot, the wires inside can fray and lead to unreliable connections. Before you consider an alternate charging solution, try using a new cable.

Otherwise, you could use the official Nexus 7 dock, which charges via the pogo pin connector (the 4 metallic dots along one side of the Nexus 7).
