Post updating my Pixel 2 (5") to Android Pie, my phone stopped charging all of sudden this morning. The phone wasn't dropped/damaged/ill-handled in any manner.

I raised a complaint with Google help team. There technician will be visiting my place on Friday to inspect the issue.

I checked Google Pixel support group and found that few other users have also reported the same. I have ensured that there is no dust or debris inside the charging port.

The phone is charging once I shut down the device. The same goes for the headphone dongles. They are also working intermittently.

Any one else also facing the same issue.

Please help.

I know you said there is no dust in your port but have you taken a needle and scraped all the way around in the bottom of the port? Mine didn't look like anything was in it but when I did this I got a bunch of lint out. This is what I have to do about once a month or mine will also start working intermittently.
