Charging settings

[Android Central Question]

I have a Huawei p20 pro, it randomly did a factory reset by itself someone and since then I can't charge it. Every time I plug it in, it won't charge. It does charge when switched off, I then realized this is because the phone keeps going to the reverse charge setting. I don't know how to change this, seeing as it does this automatically. No idea what is causing this glitch.
