Charging the Galaxy View

You all know now that Samsung in its infinite wisdom chose to have an A/C adapter rather than USB. Here's my question: has anyone looked at creating a charging cable with a male plug on one end to plug into the View and a USB connector on the other end to plug into a USB adapter. I have a Power Bank with 3 USB plugs and can't use it.

I'm not sure this is what you are looking for but my View came with a continental 2 pin mains plug. I contacted supplier and they recommended a special adaptor shown on their website. I have now received this and it is a common usb charger mains plug and I know the view will not charge through the usb socket. I therefore used a travel adaptor and the view charged perfectly.
